How do I know what size unit to reserve?

Our website has a Storage Calculator tool that can help however we recommend speaking with our experienced staff to discuss the items you need to store, what kind of access you will require to your items during the rental period, and other considerations. We will be more than happy to help you select the optimal size for your needs.

When can I move in?

We meet customers in our office at Budget Storage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Simply call us anytime at (614) 374-2311 to set an appointment time convenient for you and you will be moving in that day!

What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?

Any government issued ID such as a Drivers License, State ID, or passport will work. Please bring to your move-in/lease appointment.

Is a long-term commitment required?

No. All leases at Budget Storage are month-to-month, with a minimum one full month rental required.

How do I make my monthly payment?

Most customers sign-up for auto-pay (no extra charge) and the monthly rent, plus sales tax, is deducted on the first of each month from a credit or debit card. We also accept personal and business checks, money orders, and cash (only in the office). Payments can be dropped off in our secure lock box at the facility, or mailed to our company business office: Budget Storage Business Office, 6449 Lake Trail Drive, Westerville, OH 43082. Payments can also be made over the phone with a debit or credit card by calling (614) 890-6073 or you can pay on-line at anytime on this website (see PAY BILL button in top right corner of main page)

How do the move-in specials apply?

All advertised move-in discounts are applied and begin on the date of your move-in and are pro-rated to the end of that calendar month.

Are there any items that are not allowed to be stored at Budget Storage?

Yes. Liquids, explosives, flammables, illegal drugs, toxic material, or perishable foods. Please ask our experts if you have any further questions.

What kind of access do I have to the facility and my unit?

Budget Storage customers enjoy 24 hour access, 7 days per week to the complex and your storage unit. At the time of lease signing, you will select a 6 digit gate code which you can use to enter and exit through our computerized gate system.

Do you offer a FREE move-in truck?

Yes, however restrictions do apply. Please contact our office to review your eligibility and all the details.

Do you offer assistance with moving my items?

Yes. We have a third party group that helps our customers with any/all moving services needed including packing the storage unit for you. They are experts in every area of moving and storage with incredibly low prices for their services (less than half what most movers charge). Call our office for more details.

How much notice needs to be given before I move out?

All leases at Budget Storage are month-to-month, with the rent due on the 1st of each month. We do require at least 10 days notice before the end of any month for move-out. Rent is not pro-rated during the move out month.
